Power BI Developer
Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that deliver clear, actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Develop and refine complex data models to support accurate reporting, efficient analysis, and scalable business intelligence solutions.
• Optimize report performance by improving queries, streamlining datasets, and applying best practices for data retrieval and visualization.
• Partner with business and technical teams to gather reporting needs and translate them into effective analytics deliverables.
• Create and support reporting solutions that incorporate data from multiple sources while maintaining consistency and reliability.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues, investigate data discrepancies, and implement fixes to improve usability and accuracy.
• Contribute to SSRS and related reporting efforts when needed to support broader business intelligence objectives.
• Document reporting logic, data definitions, and development standards to support long-term maintainability and team collaboration.
Qualifications:
• Proven hands-on experience developing reports and dashboards with Microsoft Power BI.• Strong background in advanced data modeling for analytics and business intelligence applications.
• Demonstrated success improving query execution and overall report performance.
• Experience working in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or another highly regulated industry environment.
• Working knowledge of SSRS and broader reporting toolsets.
• Familiarity with JavaScript-based technologies such as React.js and Redux is preferred.
• Ability to translate business needs into well-structured reporting solutions and visualizations.
Compensation
