Responsibilities:
• Conduct administrative or formal hearings in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and legal standards.
• Review case materials, testimony, and supporting documentation to assess facts and reach objective conclusions.
• Preside over proceedings with care, ensuring participants are heard and processes remain orderly and impartial.
• Prepare clear, thorough written findings, recommendations, or decisions based on the information presented.
• Interpret relevant regulations, policies, and legal guidance to support consistent hearing outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records of proceedings, evidence, and determinations in a timely manner.
• Communicate hearing expectations, procedural matters, and outcomes clearly to involved parties.
Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor degree required.• Prior experience serving as a Hearing Officer is required.
• Active law license is not required for this position.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze testimony, documentation, and case details with accuracy.
• Strong written communication skills with experience drafting findings or decisions.
• Ability to apply legal and procedural standards in an impartial and consistent manner.
• Excellent judgment, organization, and professionalism in a hearing environment.
Compensation
