Order Entry Clerk
Responsibilities:
• Process incoming purchase orders from customer portals and enter order details accurately into the company’s order management system.
• Maintain organized order documentation and keep records current to support efficient processing and fulfillment activities.
• Update inventory data in spreadsheets and help monitor stock information to support order accuracy.
• Track outgoing shipments across truckload, LTL, and small parcel channels and share status updates as needed.
• Assist with capturing and maintaining sales-related information connected to daily order activity.
• Respond to customer and internal inquiries with timely, clear communication regarding orders and shipment status.
• Work closely with the order processing team to help keep workflow moving smoothly and complete additional operational tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
• At least 1 year of experience in order entry, order processing, or a related administrative support role.• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including strong working knowledge of Excel.
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload with accuracy, urgency, and close attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes and systems quickly.
• Experience working with order management, ERP, CRM, or related business software is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
