Bookkeeper

A rapidly growing e-commerce and distribution company in Vista is seeking a Bookkeeper to support daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with company leadership while gaining exposure to multiple aspects of accounting and business operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys owning the day-to-day bookkeeping functions that help keep a business running smoothly.

Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts
• Record daily financial activity and prepare journal entries
• Assist with month-end close activities and reporting
• Monitor outstanding customer balances and vendor payments

Administrative & Financial Support

• Generate financial reports and account summaries
• Maintain vendor and customer records
• Assist with audit preparation and documentation requests
• Support special projects and accounting initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience required
• Proficiency with Xero accounting software required
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills including formulas, lookups, and reporting functions
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Associate's degree in Accounting or related field is a plus
