Fund Accountant – High-Impact Role in Global Investment Plat
Compensation: $110K – $150K (with stretch) + discretionary bonus
Location: San Francisco (Hybrid)

This is not your typical fund accounting role.
You’ll be stepping into a high-visibility position within a globally active investment platform managing tens of billions in capital across public and private markets, including private equity, credit, and real estate.
We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just want to report numbers—but wants to shape how fund accounting is done.
What You’ll Do
- Own the preparation of fund and entity financials (audited & unaudited)
- Drive investor allocations, capital activity, and performance reporting
- Review complex portfolio transactions, accruals, and reconciliations
- Partner with investment, operations, and valuation teams on private investments
- Interface with investors, auditors, and third parties
- Play a key role in modernizing systems and improving processes
Qualifications:
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of accounting experience (funds, audit, or admin preferred)
- Strong Excel and analytical skillset
- Deep understanding of complex accounting concepts
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to operate both independently and cross-functionally
Nice to have:
CPA, CFA, or equivalent
Experience with hedge funds / private equity
Familiarity with Advent Geneva
