- Possess skills and knowledge in obtaining blood from venous and capillary sites.
- Uses correct procedures to accurately identify patients and specimen.
- Completes paperwork and maintains records as needed.
- Prepare biological specimens for analysis.
- Assists in maintaining proper level of supplies.
- Be well organized and able to synchronize duties with other personnel.
- Report incidents that are unusual or deficient to immediate supervisor.
- Adheres to infection control standards.
- Maintains patient and staff confidentiality.
