Position Summary
Masco Corporation is seeking a strategic and analytical Director of Investor Relations & Corporate Finance to play a critical role in shaping the company's financial narrative, supporting capital markets engagement, and driving enterprise-wide financial planning and performance management. Masco is a leading manufacturer of branded home improvement and building products, with a portfolio of industry-leading brands serving consumers globally.
This role serves as a key liaison between executive leadership, investors, sell-side analysts, and internal business leaders. The Director will lead investor relations activities, oversee financial forecasting and strategic planning processes, develop executive-level financial analyses, and provide insights that support long-term value creation and shareholder confidence.
Key Responsibilities
Investor Relations Leadership
Support the development and execution of Masco's investor relations strategy to support transparent and effective communication with the investment community.
Serve as a point of contact for institutional investors, equity research analysts, and prospective shareholders.
Coordinate quarterly earnings processes, including earnings materials, analyst presentations, conference call preparation, and Q&A development.
Support investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, and investor meetings alongside executive leadership.
Monitor analyst models, investor sentiment, shareholder composition, valuation trends, and peer performance.
Prepare executive briefing materials and market intelligence reports for senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
Collaborate with Corporate Communications, Legal, and Finance teams to ensure compliance with SEC disclosure requirements and best practices.
Develop compelling investment messaging that clearly articulates Masco's strategy, financial performance, capital allocation priorities, and ESG initiatives.
Corporate Finance
Support enterprise-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning processes.
Partner with business units and functional leaders to evaluate performance drivers and identify opportunities for growth and margin expansion.
Develop financial models supporting earnings forecasts, capital allocation decisions, scenario planning, and strategic initiatives.
Analyze financial and operational results against plans, forecasts, and external expectations.
Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reviews for executive leadership.
Drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy, financial reporting, and analytical capabilities.
Support capital planning activities such as company’s share buyback program and rating agency relationships.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
10+ years of progressive experience in Investor Relations, FP&A, Corporate Finance, Equity Research, Investment Banking, or a related discipline.
Strong understanding of public company reporting, capital markets, valuation methodologies, and financial modeling.
Experience presenting complex financial information to executive leadership and external stakeholders.
Exceptional analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning systems.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, publicly traded company environment.
Preferred
MBA, CFA, CPA, or equivalent advanced credential.
Experience in manufacturing, industrial, consumer products, or building products industries.
Prior public company investor relations experience.
Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks and sustainability disclosures.
Experience supporting earnings calls, investor conferences, and Board presentations.
