As a Security Coordinator – Level 4 located in Redondo Beach, CA, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Supporting a fast-paced high-profile environment
  • Create, maintain, and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Meticulous record-keeping and responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets
  • Support Classified Material Services functions including document control.
  • Process incoming and outgoing classified shipments and transfers.
  • Processes security information and data for employment records, security clearances, and visitor control
  • Conduct Media Control, Accountability, and Destruction for classified programs.
  • Manage secure conference room reservations, order supplies, and offer security support for meetings
  • Support VIP tours
  • Other administrative tasks as assigned
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs
  • Other duties as assigned

  

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experience
  • Requires an active U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time
  • Candidate must be organized and efficient at time management
  • Candidate must have experience with computer and desktop Microsoft office software products (Word, Excel etc...)

 Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Experience with databases such as SIMS, JPAS/DISS.
  • Experience with NISPOM, ICD and other customer documentation.
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to display tact, discretion, and diplomacy in a variety of program areas.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, speaking, writing skills and organizational skills enabling effective communication.

Northrop Grumman Total Rewards 

Primary Level Salary Range: $61,100.00 - $101,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
