About the Opportunity
A growing services organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This role offers strong visibility and the opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, revenue-driven environment with diverse income streams.
Position Overview
The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the general ledger and close process, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. This is a hands-on position supporting a dynamic business with multiple revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting packages
- Analyze variances and provide actionable insights to management
- Support audit requests and maintain organized supporting documentation
- Identify process improvements and drive efficiencies across accounting workflows
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of accounting experience (audit or strong GL background), CPA a plus
- Good grasp of GAAP and close cycles
- ERP experience and advanced Excel skills
- Highly organized, detail-focused, and analytical
- Works well in fast-paced, team settings
Compensation
