Temporary Teller

We are looking for a dependable Contract Teller to join a financial services branch in Paso Robles, California on a contract basis. In this short-term role, you will support daily front-line banking operations by assisting customers with routine transactions and providing courteous, accurate service. This position is well suited for someone who is comfortable handling cash, attentive to detail, and able to work efficiently in a busy branch setting.

Responsibilities:

• Process everyday banking transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan or bill payments, and other teller activities with accuracy and efficiency.

• Assist customers with account-related questions by providing clear information and attentive service during each interaction.

• Reconcile and balance your cash drawer at the end of each shift to ensure all funds and transactions are accounted for properly.

• Maintain precise records of branch transactions and complete required documentation in accordance with established procedures.

• Follow branch security standards, cash controls, and operational policies to help protect customers, funds, and confidential information.

• Support smooth daily branch operations by responding promptly to customer needs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in a teller, cash-handling, banking support, or similar customer-facing role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cash transactions accurately and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Basic computer proficiency and comfort using banking or transaction-processing systems.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy in a busy branch environment.
• Dependable work habits and a strong commitment to following procedures, compliance standards, and security guidelines.

Compensation

$19.00-$22.00 Hourly
