Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager

Compensation: $80 to $95 Yearly

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to join a rapidly expanding renewable energy company in Charlotte, North Carolina. This position is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented finance specialist who can oversee daily payables activity, support a growing team, and bring structure to a high-volume environment. The role offers strong visibility, meaningful leadership responsibility, and the opportunity to grow with a business operating at significant scale.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day accounts payable operations while personally managing invoice processing to maintain continuity across the function.
• Lead and support a distributed AP team, providing direction, accountability, and coaching in a fast-paced growth environment.
• Review invoice coding, payment accuracy, and approval workflows to ensure timely and compliant disbursements.
• Coordinate check runs and ACH payments, helping the organization manage large transaction volumes efficiently.
• Use NetSuite and related payment platforms to monitor processing activity, resolve issues, and improve day-to-day execution.
• Partner with finance and banking stakeholders to support payment operations, reporting needs, and internal controls.
• Help build a more centralized and scalable AP structure as the organization continues to expand.
• Identify process gaps, prioritize urgent items, and keep critical vendor payments moving without disruption.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience leading or supervising accounts payable operations in a high-volume environment.
• Strong working knowledge of invoice coding, payment processing, check runs, and ACH transactions.
• Practical experience using NetSuite for accounts payable or broader accounting workflows.
• Solid Excel skills, with the ability to work efficiently with spreadsheets and reporting tools.
• Proven ability to step into a hands-on role and contribute immediately to daily processing needs.
• Track record of stable tenure and progressive responsibility in prior accounting or finance positions.
• Leadership capability combined with a proactive, execution-focused approach to problem solving.
• Industry experience in renewable energy or other complex, fast-growing businesses is helpful but not required.

Compensation

$80,000.00-$95,000.00 Yearly
