Human Resources (HR) Manager

Compensation: $75 to $95 Yearly

Robert Half is partnering with a growing company who is seeking an experienced HR & Payroll Manager to lead all human resources and payroll functions for a growing operations team. This is a hands-on role overseeing the full employee lifecycle, payroll accuracy, compliance, and HR processes that support a field-heavy workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll

  • Lead end-to-end biweekly payroll processing (multi-state)
  • Audit timecards, manage overtime/per diem, and ensure compliance
  • Administer deductions (garnishments, benefits, retirement)
  • Own year-end processes including W-2s and reconciliations
  • Manage HRIS/payroll system (Paycom preferred) and reporting

HR & Compliance

  • Serve as primary contact for employee relations and investigations
  • Ensure compliance with federal and Colorado labor laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, FAMLI, COMPS, WAGES Act)
  • Maintain audit-ready employee records and documentation
  • Manage workers’ comp and OSHA reporting
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures

Talent & Operations

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting and onboarding/offboarding
  • Oversee performance evaluations and workforce planning
  • Administer benefits (health, dental, vision, SIMPLE IRA)
  • Deliver reporting on headcount, turnover, and labor costs
  • Drive process improvements and support audits

This role is 100% in office.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of HR & payroll experience (including leadership)
  • Proven experience running full-cycle payroll for 50+ employees
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance
  • Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (Paycom preferred)
  • Advanced organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, field-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or CPP certification
  • Experience in oil & gas, construction, or industrial services
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus




Compensation

$75,000.00-$95,000.00 Yearly
