Social Media & Content Creator

About the Role

Seeking a creative, detail-oriented Social Media & Content Creator to support and grow digital presence across multiple platforms. This role is responsible for developing, publishing, monitoring, and optimizing content across social media channels, as well as creating compelling written content that engages audiences and supports organizational objectives.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys both the creative and strategic aspects of content marketing and social media management. Candidates with strong experience in content creation, social media management, and audience engagement from any industry are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

• Manage day-to-day social media activities across Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram
• Create and maintain a content calendar aligned with key initiatives
• Schedule, publish, and optimize social content
• Monitor engagement, comments, messages, and audience interactions
• Track and report on performance metrics and engagement trends
• Stay current on platform updates, trends, and best practices

Content Creation

• Write audience-focused content for social media, blogs, articles, and email campaigns
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support events, programs, and initiatives
• Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging
• Adapt content for different platforms and audience segments

Collaboration & Strategy

• Partner with marketing and internal teams on broader communication efforts
• Recommend new content ideas and strategies to increase engagement and brand awareness
• Support growth and optimization of social media presence, including Instagram

Qualifications:

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing, or related field
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
• Experience managing professional social media accounts (especially LinkedIn and Facebook)
• Familiarity with Instagram content strategies and best practices
• Knowledge of social media scheduling, analytics, and reporting tools
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting associations, nonprofits, membership organizations, or B2B environments
• Experience creating visual content (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
• Understanding of content marketing and audience engagement strategies
