Accounting Clerk
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk with 2+ years of experience to support day-to-day accounting operations. This role will assist with transactional accounting functions, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure timely processing of financial data.
Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Enter, code, and verify invoices and expense reports
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Support month-end close activities
- Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on discrepancies
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Business Central, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills
- Experience in both AP and AR functions
- Exposure to ERP systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
Compensation
$42,000.00-$45,000.00 YearlyAbout Us
