Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Risk Analytics Consultant to join the Decision Science team within the Credit Card organization. This role focuses on analytics and strategy support for acquisition channels. The ideal candidate is a highly analytical problem‑solver with strong risk expertise, modeling knowledge, and the ability to influence decision‑making across business and technical teams.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives, and delivering insight and decision strategies within analytics and reporting, and contribute to large-scale planning related to Risk Analytics
  • Review and analyze moderately complex data aggregation, forecasting, reporting, and programming models
  • Be responsible for process production, data reconciliation, and model documentation in alignment with policy governance
  • Resolve data, production, business modeling, and lead team to meet Risk Analytics deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of risk reporting policies, modeling strategies, procedures, regulatory requests, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, experienced managers, compliance, and technology to resolve modeling, forecasting, and production issues, and achieve analytic and reporting goals
  • Lead projects, teams, and mentor less experienced staff
  • Partner with cross enterprise risk analysts in development of common modeling strategies


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree or MBA in statistics, economics, mathematics, or a related quantitative field
  • Experience developing or validating forecasting, valuation, or credit risk models within financial services or lending environments
  • Familiarity with unsecured lending products (Credit Cards, Personal Loans, Retail/Consumer Finance) and associated risk dynamics
  • Experience with SQL, SAS, or Python, including working with large, complex datasets in modern data environments (e.g., cloud platforms or distributed frameworks)
  • Card industry and financial P&L knowledge
  • Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate technical analysis into actionable business insights and strategies
  • Proven ability to collaborate, lead cross-functional projects, and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to clearly convey complex analytics
