Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking an Entry Level Cable and Harness Technician to join our Manufacturing and Production team of qualified, diverse individuals in Melbourne, FL.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Manufacture cable / harness products.
- Reads and interprets Work Instructions, schematics, wirelists, and drawings.
- Ensures quality of the hardware is maintained and company procedures are followed.
- Ensures work is done with completeness, accuracy, adherence to operation sheets, ISO procedures, schedules, and assign tasks.
- Provides regular communication to shop leads and Work Center management on status and technical issues.

Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED and hobby/technical related experience in mechanical, composites, body work, electrical, or other dexterous activities.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, perform repetitive physical movements, and handle and assemble small parts.
- Ability to work any shift as needed by the business.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret level clearance and Special Program Access within a reasonable period, as defined by the company to meet its business needs. U.S. Citizenship required for clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Manufacturing Cable and Harness and ISO processes
- Able to read drawings and schematics
- Works well in a team environment
- Experience with Assembly harnesses
- Ability to read wire list
- Cable harness Braiding experience
- Active U.S. Government Secret level clearance and Program Access last investigated within the last 5 1/2 years
- Able to travel domestically on short notice up to 25% of the time
