This will be a short-term position to work on-call and casual hours. Travel will be required as needed. This position will support the Armament Systems business unit within the Defense Systems sector.
Responsibilities:
- Support Armament Systems BU within the Combat Systems OU as an on-call Business Development leader to act as liaison between our organization and key government stakeholders at designated sites.
- Support key Combat Systems portfolios, driving strategic engagements with specific focus on progressing Terrain Shaping Obstacle (TSO) and Precision Grenadier System (PGS) pursuits.
- Provide subject matter expertise (SME) in the CONOPS of terrain shaping to help develop value propositions for new capabilities to be presented to the TSO stakeholder community.
- Support and facilitate senior officer engagements as required for the BU.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 20 years of progressive leadership experience within the U.S. Army, ideally at senior command or staff level with additional experience working within the Defense Industry.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, acquisition, or capability development.
- Proven track record of opening and growing defense‑related accounts, securing multi‑year contracts, or leading large‑scale partnership initiatives.
- Able to obtain or possess a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
- Must be able to travel as needed.
