Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift
Job Description:
Electro Static Technology is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for independently maintaining and troubleshooting equipment with moderate complexity. They will focus on the performance and maintenance of industrial machines by performing the following duties.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine repairs independently
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and restore operations quickly
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and manuals
- Assist with equipment installations and upgrades
- Tooling change-over on production equipment, ensuring parts produced are within specification.
• Implements programs to standardize and minimize production changeovers and
machine downtime.
• Use machine shop tools to produce parts and fabricate repairs.
• Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
• Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
- Mentor and support newer in role/trade Maintenance Technician employees
• Compliance with Safety, Health, and Quality regulations and standards.
Qualifications
To be a successful Maintenance Technician you should have a practical mind, mechanical aptitude, and strong attention to detail to ensure that machinery and equipment are in excellent operating condition.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- High school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred
- 2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Working knowledge of building electrical systems and industrial equipment
• Mechanical aptitude and ability
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or
diagram form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Troubleshooting experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC
systems.
• Computer skills related to using Microsoft Office products, Maintenance CMMS, etc.
• Basic Machinist experienced is preferred.

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, crouch, crawl in awkward spaces.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
