Attorney/Lawyer

We are looking for a motivated Attorney/Lawyer to join a growing regional law firm in Rochelle Park, New Jersey. This role offers the opportunity to manage litigation matters tied to commercial and consumer collections while building hands-on courtroom and case strategy experience. The firm provides a collaborative environment where attorneys can deepen their litigation skills, work directly with clients, and contribute to a busy legal practice.

Responsibilities:
• Manage a caseload involving commercial and consumer collection disputes from initial filing through resolution.
• Prepare and respond to written discovery, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents with accuracy and strong legal analysis.
• Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, arbitrations, mediations, and related proceedings.
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide matter updates, discuss strategy, and address case developments.
• Coordinate case activity to ensure deadlines, filings, and procedural requirements are handled efficiently.
• Conduct legal research and develop arguments that support motion practice and overall case strategy.
• Work closely with senior attorneys and litigation team members to strengthen advocacy skills and expand courtroom experience.

Qualifications:

• Active attorney licensure with admission in two jurisdictions as required for the role.
• At least 1 year of legal experience in litigation or a closely related practice area.
• Demonstrated ability to draft motions, briefs, and other court filings.
• Working knowledge of discovery procedures and civil litigation processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client and court interaction.
• Ability to manage multiple matters while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• Experience with debt collection litigation is valued but not required.

Compensation

$100,000.00-$125,000.00 Yearly
