Mailroom Clerk

We are looking for a dependable Mailroom Clerk to support a short-term Contract assignment in Wilmington, Delaware. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling incoming and outgoing mail as well as digitizing paper documents. The person in this role will help keep daily mail operations running smoothly while providing accurate scanning and administrative support.

Responsibilities:

• Collect incoming mail and packages from designated office areas and prepare them for internal distribution.

• Sort and deliver correspondence to the appropriate departments or individuals in a timely manner.

• Scan paper records and mail items into digital formats while maintaining image quality and file accuracy.

• Organize physical and electronic documents so materials can be retrieved quickly when needed.

• Support routine mailroom activities such as handling daily mail volume and assisting with basic clerical tasks.

• Verify that documents are routed correctly and escalate any delivery or processing issues as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a mailroom, clerical, or office support environment.
• Ability to manage daily mail handling with accuracy and consistent attention to detail.
• Experience using scanning equipment for document imaging and record processing.
• Comfortable performing repetitive administrative tasks while maintaining productivity.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize time-sensitive work.
• Reliable communication skills and a detail-oriented approach to workplace support.

Compensation

$18.05-$20.90 Hourly
