Facilities Coordinator 2 (2-4 years)

Compensation: $21 to $23 Hourly

We are looking for a detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to support daily workplace operations. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who can balance administrative tasks, vendor coordination, and facility support while helping maintain a safe, efficient, and well-organized environment. The role will partner with internal teams and service providers to keep building services running smoothly and ensure office needs are addressed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate scheduled maintenance and repair activities across building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
• Monitor the delivery of janitorial, landscaping, and security services to help maintain a well-organized and functional workplace.
• Support the selection and oversight of outside contractors, and verify that completed work meets service expectations and contract standards.
• Maintain organized records for facility operations, compliance documentation, and active service agreements.
• Assist the facilities team with administrative tasks such as calendar coordination, purchasing support, invoice tracking, and budget-related reporting.
• Help promote compliance with workplace safety regulations and support emergency preparedness and occupational safety initiatives.
• Contribute to space planning efforts by assisting with seating arrangements, office reconfigurations, and internal move coordination.
• Serve as a point of contact between employees and external providers for workplace services, including catering, parking, cleaning, and security support.
• Track inventory levels for facility supplies and place replenishment orders to ensure essential materials remain available.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; an associate degree or higher in facilities management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in facilities coordination, office operations, or a comparable support role.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests, deadlines, and priorities effectively.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work well with staff, vendors, and service providers.
• Practical knowledge of building systems and general facility operations, including mechanical and electrical support areas.
• Experience with procurement activities, budget tracking, and service scheduling.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with facilities management systems or related software.
• Working knowledge of health, safety, and compliance standards applicable to office or commercial environments.

Compensation

$21.00-$23.00 Hourly
