Controller
Responsibilities:
• Direct the preparation of consolidated financial statements for multiple business entities, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with reporting standards.
• Lead month-end and period-end closing activities, coordinating timelines, reconciliations, and review procedures across accounting functions.
• Manage manufacturing cost accounting processes, including analysis of production costs, inventory valuation, and margin performance.
• Prepare and review financial reports for leadership, delivering timely analysis that supports operational and strategic decision-making.
• Oversee account reconciliations and general ledger integrity to maintain reliable financial data and strong internal controls.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to interpret financial results, investigate variances, and recommend corrective actions where needed.
• Build and maintain advanced Excel-based reporting and analysis tools to improve visibility into financial performance.
• Support global or multi-entity reporting requirements by coordinating financial data across domestic and international operations where applicable.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles with responsibility for controllership or senior-level financial oversight.
• Demonstrated success preparing consolidated financials across multiple entities in a complex business environment.
• Strong background in manufacturing accounting, including cost analysis, inventory accounting, and related financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience managing month-end close and producing accurate, timely financial statements.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, account analysis, and consolidation processes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to create effective reports, models, and reconciliations.
• Experience working with international operations or global reporting structures is highly preferred.
• CPA highly desired
