Accounting Manager
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will take ownership of core accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all general ledger accounting processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Develop and distribute the monthly close calendar, tracking deliverables and deadlines through a structured close checklist.
- Lead month end and year end close activities, including account reconciliations, journal entry preparation and financial statement generation.
- Build and enforce accounting policies, procedures and internal controls to strengthen financial reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements along with ad hoc financial projects as needed.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide hands on guidance and leadership to the accounting team, fostering high performance and accountability.
- Partner with auditors during financial statement audits to ensure thorough and seamless documentation processes.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles.• Proficiency in managing month-end close processes and general ledger operations.
• Strong knowledge of financial statement audits and account reconciliation practices.
• Experience with journal entries and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or similar accounting software.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to meet strict deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze financial data effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Compensation
