Mailroom Assistant

We are looking for a dependable Mailroom Assistant to support daily mail operations for a Contract position based in Minnetonka, Minnesota. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys organized, hands-on work and can keep materials moving accurately and on schedule. The ideal candidate will help manage incoming and outgoing correspondence while maintaining an efficient and orderly mailroom environment.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, sort, and organize incoming mail and packages to ensure timely distribution across the site

• Deliver letters, parcels, and internal documents to the appropriate departments and individuals throughout the day

• Prepare outgoing mail by checking packaging, labeling items correctly, and routing shipments according to established procedures

• Track daily mail activity and help maintain accurate records for received and distributed items

• Assist with routine mail processing tasks, including prioritizing urgent deliveries and handling standard correspondence efficiently

• Keep the mailroom clean, stocked, and ready for daily operations by organizing supplies and work areas

• Support team workflows by responding promptly to mail-related requests and helping resolve delivery issues as they arise

Qualifications:

• 0+ years of experience in a mailroom, clerical, warehouse, or other operational support environment
• Ability to sort, distribute, and deliver mail accurately in a fast-paced setting
• Comfortable handling repetitive daily tasks while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage incoming materials efficiently
• Basic communication skills with a dependable and detail-oriented approach to service
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry mail or packages as needed during the workday
• Willingness to follow established mail handling, safety, and confidentiality procedures

Compensation

$19.95-$23.10 Hourly
