Office Assistant
Responsibilities:
• Welcome test takers, confirm identification, and guide them through check-in procedures with courtesy and care.
• Carry out required security screening steps, including the use of handheld screening devices when needed.
• Observe candidates throughout the testing process and respond promptly to concerns or irregular situations.
• Protect testing materials, equipment, and the overall integrity of the site by following established procedures at all times.
• Document incidents accurately and escalate matters that fall outside standard guidelines.
• Support a comfortable and consistent testing experience by assisting candidates before, during, and after exams.
• Perform administrative support tasks such as scanning documents, handling clerical work, and answering inbound calls.
• Assist with basic handling of office or lab equipment, including packing, unpacking, and moving materials safely as needed.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional college coursework is preferred.• At least one year of face-to-face customer service experience in environments such as retail, hospitality, food service, or similar settings is required.
• Must meet the minimum age requirement for the position.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear and accurate documentation.
• Comfortable using Windows-based computer systems and common office applications such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, and web browsers.
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a structured environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Capable of bending, stooping, lifting up to 40 pounds, and walking through the testing area regularly during shifts.
• Able to remain seated or standing for extended periods and visually monitor computer screens and camera feeds effectively.
Compensation
