Inventory Clerk

We are looking for a dependable Inventory Clerk to support daily warehouse and inventory operations for a Contract position based in Woburn, Massachusetts. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys hands-on work, stays organized in a fast-moving environment, and takes pride in accuracy. The position involves handling incoming and outgoing materials, maintaining inventory records, and contributing to an efficient, orderly warehouse operation.

Responsibilities:
• Process inbound and outbound shipments using major carrier platforms while ensuring materials are accurately received, packed, and dispatched.
• Perform routine inventory counts and reconcile stock discrepancies to help maintain reliable on-hand quantities.
• Support inventory control activities by tracking product movement and updating records with close attention to detail.
• Assist with kitting and order preparation to ensure materials are assembled and ready for distribution on schedule.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts when needed, in a safe and responsible manner.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with daily operational standards.
• Help meet productivity targets by pulling, handling, cutting, packing, and shipping orders efficiently.
• Coordinate with team members across warehouse functions to maintain smooth day-to-day workflow.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or distribution setting is preferred, though training may be available for a strong candidate.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment while maintaining quality and meeting daily output expectations.
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and standing or walking for the full shift.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to stay organized and complete tasks accurately.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively with limited supervision.
• Proficiency in English, including clear verbal communication and basic written comprehension.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with inventory practices or quality standards such as AS9100 is an advantage.

Compensation

$19.00-$22.00 Hourly
