Benefits Specialist
Responsibilities:
• Administer employee benefit activities by coordinating enrollments, updates, and ongoing program support with accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage COBRA-related tasks, including qualifying event processing, notifications, and follow-up documentation.
• Support leave of absence administration by tracking cases, maintaining records, and communicating status updates to appropriate stakeholders.
• Respond to employee questions regarding benefit plans, eligibility, coverage changes, and general benefits procedures.
• Partner with internal teams and external vendors to resolve benefit issues and ensure smooth day-to-day program operations.
• Maintain organized records and audit benefits data to help ensure compliance, accuracy, and completeness.
• Assist with compensation and benefits coordination by supporting related processes, reporting, and employee communications.
Qualifications:
• Experience supporting employee benefits administration in a coordinator or specialist capacity.• Working knowledge of COBRA processes and benefits-related compliance practices.
• Familiarity with leave of absence administration and case tracking.
• Ability to manage multiple benefits tasks with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for employee and vendor interactions.
• Proficiency in maintaining benefits records, documentation, and related administrative data.
• Background in compensation and benefits support is preferred.
Compensation
