Dispatcher

We are looking for a Dispatcher to support maintenance operations for occupied residential properties in Tustin, California. This Long-term Contract position focuses on coordinating service activity, organizing technician schedules, and ensuring residents receive timely updates on repair requests. The person in this role will help keep work moving efficiently by handling work orders, purchase orders, and communication across multiple teams.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate incoming maintenance requests for occupied homes and move each work order through completion.
• Arrange technician schedules and assign service visits based on priority, location, and availability.
• Communicate with residents to confirm appointments, provide updates, and follow up on completed repair activity.
• Create, track, and close purchase orders accurately to support maintenance services across assigned markets.
• Partner with field teams and local offices to resolve service issues and maintain clear visibility into ongoing work.
• Monitor open requests, document status changes, and help ensure repairs are completed within expected timeframes.

Qualifications:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with residents and internal teams.
• Fast and accurate typing ability with confidence handling a high volume of updates and documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks at once in a busy dispatch or coordination environment.
• Experience using computer-based business systems such as CRM platforms, work order tools, or property management software.
• Background in dispatching, customer service, or service coordination is preferred.
• Familiarity with inbound call handling, billing-related processes, or purchase order administration is an asset.
• Experience with Yardi or similar property management systems is helpful.

Compensation

$22.00-$24.00 Hourly
