Sr. Financial Analyst

Our growing client in the Nashville area is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst with strong technical capabilities in the Microsoft Power Platform to enhance financial visibility and support more data-driven decision-making across the business.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys moving beyond traditional Excel-based analysis and building dynamic dashboards, automated workflows, and actionable insights for leadership.

The role:

• Design and maintain Power BI dashboards to deliver real-time visibility into financial and operational performance
• Develop and automate reporting processes using Power Automate and related tools
• Perform detailed variance analysis (budget vs. actual, forecast vs. actual, trend analysis) and communicate key drivers
• Partner with accounting and business leaders to build meaningful KPIs and performance metrics
• Analyze large data sets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Support forecasting and budgeting processes, including scenario modeling
• Improve reporting efficiency by transitioning manual processes into automated, scalable solutions
• Assist with month-end and quarter-end reporting packages
• Provide ad hoc analysis and decision support to leadership

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
• 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP& A, or related roles
• Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI (dashboard creation, data modeling, visualization)
• Experience with Power Automate or similar tools for workflow automation
• Advanced Excel skills (data manipulation, financial modeling, etc.)
• Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with non-finance stakeholders
