| Physical Requirements | Position requires prolonged periods of sitting, computer use, screen viewing, and repetitive motion related to keyboarding and mouse use. Occasional standing, walking, lifting or carrying light materials, and participation in meetings may be required. |

| Job Summary |
There are two openings for the STEPS Instructional Designer (IDs). The IDs will:

| Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | Knowledge of instructional design, online learning, accessibility, quality assurance, LMS tools, and educational technology. Ability to organize course content, develop instructional materials, follow templates and workflows, communicate effectively with faculty, manage multiple projects, and maintain accurate documentation. |

| Preferred Education/Experience | Master’s degree in instructional design, educational technology, curriculum and instruction, higher education, adult learning, or a related field preferred. Experience working in higher education, online course development, Canvas or another learning management system, Articulate Rise/Storyline or similar authoring tools, accessibility standards, quality assurance processes, and faculty support preferred. |
