Executive Assistant, Finance

TerraPower is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Executive Assistant to support the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This role provides high-level executive and administrative support, including complex calendar and travel management, meeting coordination, preparation of presentation materials, and proactive problem-solving. The ideal candidate is a trusted professional who exercises sound judgment, manages confidential information with discretion, and contributes meaningfully to the efficiency and productivity of the Finance leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive executive support to the CFO and broader department aling with assisting other executives as needed.
  • Manage calendars, meetings, conferences, and teleconferences, ensuring logistics, deadlines, and materials are handled efficiently and in compliance with TerraPower Facility Access Procedures.
  • Plan and support premeeting preparation, develop agendas, capture and track action items, and maintain accurate records, notes, and documentation.
  • Manage highly confidential communications and information.
  • Assist with board-related materials, including preparation and coordination as needed.
  • Support leadership in developing highquality presentations and documents (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), including proofreading, formatting, and version management.
  • Serve as an on-site representative for the CFO, acting as a professional liaison between internal and external stakeholders and facilitating communication and information flow.
  • Provide general support to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), helping coordinate internal/external requests and enabling effective interdepartmental communication.
  • Manage all travel logistics for the CFO, including itinerary planning, flights, hotels, ground transportation, event registration, and related scheduling.
  • Prepare, submit, and track expense reports accurately, promptly, and in compliance with company policies.
  • Participate actively in the administrative community, including offering backup support to other administrative staff, ensuring visitor access and security protocols, and attending administrative meetings.
  • Foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and vendors.
  • Support special projects and ad hoc requests from senior leadership.
  • Provide backup support to the Executive Assistant to the President & CEO when needed.

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of executive support experience; experience supporting senior-level leadership preferred.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex domestic and international travel.
  • Ability to work efficiently with direct communicators and fast-moving priorities.
  • Exceptional judgment, discretion, problem-solving skills, and the ability to anticipate leadership needs.
  • Agile, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fastpaced, evolving environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels, including senior executives, trustees, donors, and peers.
  • Consistently positive, professional, collaborative, and proactive demeanor.
  • Strong organizational and timemanagement skills, with the ability to independently prioritize multiple competing deadlines while thinking ahead strategically.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365; experience with SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence preferred.
  • Comfortable tracking deliverables and providing regular, clear updates to leadership.
  • Team-oriented, with the ability to work independently and know when to involve others or seek guidance.
  • High degree of integrity, openness, respect for others, and desire to build strong, collaborative relationships.
  • Light travel may be required.

Salary Range: $102,804 $154,206

* We typically place offers in the lower to middle portion of the range to maintain internal equity and allow room for growth. Any salary offered within the posted salary band is based on market data and commensurate with the selected individuals qualifications experience. This range is specific to Washington State.
