Keep Our Stamping Operations Running Strong as as a Tool and Die Maker (1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shifts, LaFayette, GA)
1st Shift: 6:30 AM –3:00 PM
2nd Shift: 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM
3rd Shift: 10:45 PM - 7:15 AM
$1,500 Retention Bonus

As a Tool & Die Maker, you’ll keep high volume stamping operations running at peak performance while working with precision tooling, dies, and machining equipment.
What You’ll Do
- Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot stamping dies of all types
- Diagnose issues in press and implement fast corrective actions
- Disassemble, inspect, polish, and rebuild dies to print
- Run tool room equipment: surface grinders, mills, lathes, CNC machining centers, Wire EDM
- Install and adjust die/tooling components
- Produce or restore components to tight tolerances
- Communicate tooling needs with operators and supervisors
- Maintain PM documentation, follow safety & 5S, and support production
What You Need:
- 2+ years Tool & Die or stamping die maintenance experience
- Ability to read blueprints and complex die drawings
- Manual and CNC machining experience preferred
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with progressive or transfer dies is a plus
Preferred:
- CAD/CAM, SolidWorks, CNC programming, EDM experience, apprenticeship background
- Set up and operate Wire EDM machines to cut precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications
- Program or edit programs using machine controls or CAM software as needed
- 2+ years of Wire EDM machining experience in a manufacturing or tool & die environment
- Experience with precision machining and tight tolerances
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T
- Familiarity with CAM programming or EDM machine controls is a plus
