Position Description
Serve as faculty member in the Department of Pediatrics in Odessa and Midland, Texas; Teach medical students, residents, and fellows in the areas of Pediatrics and Neonatal/Perinatal Care, as part of the Pediatrics Department in the Permian Basin area (Odessa and Midland, TX); Provide inpatient care, and maintain clinical records; Engage in clinical research and writing; and provide community and university service.

- Contributes to the university's mission through teaching, patient care, research and service.
- Teaching residents and medical students.
- Giving lectures and teaching sessions to residents and medical students.
- Medical practice in area of Pediatrics.
- Adhere to institutional and departmental policies and procedures.
Occasional Duties
- Maintain or develop an academic research program in the fields of Pediatrics and Neonatal/Perinatal Care.
- May conduct inpatient teaching rounds.
Required Qualifications
- M.D., D.O., or Foreign medical degree equivalent.
- Completion of pediatrics residency.
- Board Certified in Pediatrics.
- Eligible to obtain a Texas State Medical License.
