Accountant
We are looking for an Accountant to support a growing finance team in Blaine, Minnesota through a Long-term Contract assignment. This position is well suited for someone who enjoys hands-on accounting work across payables, receivables, and general ledger activity while partnering with multiple business units in a fast-paced environment. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to day-to-day financial operations, maintain accurate records, and assist with accounting processes as the organization continues to expand.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records across assigned entities.
• Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, and investigate discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Support accounts payable activities by reviewing invoices, verifying coding, and helping ensure prompt processing.
• Assist with accounts receivable tasks such as tracking incoming payments, resolving variances, and maintaining customer account accuracy.
• Work in Excel to organize financial data, analyze account activity, and support routine reporting needs.
• Collaborate with accounting and finance team members across multiple business units to keep transactions recorded correctly and consistently.
• Contribute to general ledger close activities by reviewing balances, preparing supporting documentation, and following up on outstanding items.
• Provide accounting support related to newly integrated operations and evolving financial tools as business needs change.

Qualifications:
• Experience in accounting with hands-on exposure to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes.• Ability to prepare journal entries accurately and maintain supporting documentation.
• Proficiency in completing bank reconciliations and resolving account discrepancies.
• Strong Excel skills for reviewing data, organizing schedules, and supporting analysis.
• Working knowledge of core accounting principles and day-to-day financial operations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt within a growing, fast-moving environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial records.
Compensation
