Bilingual Spanish Receptionist
Responsibilities:
• Welcome visitors, respond to inbound calls on a multi-line phone system, and assist tenants and applicants in both Spanish and English.
• Review household income information to help determine rental amounts and support housing eligibility assessments in accordance with established guidelines.
• Coordinate interviews, re-examinations, and orientation meetings by arranging appointments and confirming schedules with applicants and residents.
• Draft letters, notices, memos, and other written communications related to rent updates, tenant information, and general office matters.
• Maintain accurate tenant files by entering data, organizing documentation, and keeping records current and accessible.
• Answer questions regarding policies, procedures, and housing program requirements while providing courteous service to residents and partners.
• Support occupancy efforts by assisting with outreach or marketing activities designed to reduce unit vacancies.
• Protect sensitive resident information by handling personal and financial records with discretion and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
• Fluency in both Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate clearly in person, by phone, and through email.• Prior experience in a receptionist, front desk, administrative, or customer service role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for daily correspondence, recordkeeping, and scheduling tasks.
• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail when managing files, notices, and applicant or tenant information.
• Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars in a busy office setting.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and a high level of customer service.
• Comfortable interpreting and applying established procedures, rules, or program guidelines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Compensation
