Resident Manager

We are partnering with the owner of a well-maintained 52-unit apartment community in Fullerton that is seeking an experienced live-on-site Resident Manager. The property has been extensively updated and offers amenities including a fitness center, recreation room, study lounge, BBQ facilities, and two swimming pools. The manager is supported by maintenance staff, established vendors, and a professional management company with over 40 years of experience.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience with:

 

• Managing apartment communities of 20-60 units

• Leasing and marketing vacant units

• Resident screening, including credit and background reviews

• Rent collections and delinquency management

• Resident relations and customer service

• Property inspections and maintaining community appearance

 

Compensation includes a base salary of $25,000 annually, monthly bonus opportunities of up to $9,600 annually, and a discounted on-site two-bedroom apartment at only $600 per month.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in property management, residential property operations, or a closely related field.
• Prior success overseeing apartment communities, ideally within properties of a similar mid-sized unit count.
• Demonstrated experience with leasing, resident communication, and occupancy support.
• Working knowledge of applicant screening processes, rent collection practices, and delinquency follow-up.
• Ability to inspect property conditions, prioritize issues, and help maintain a clean and attractive community.
• Proficiency with property management systems, including experience using Yardi software.
• Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and a detail-oriented customer service approach.

Compensation

$25,000.00-$34,600.00 Yearly
