Customer Service Representative
Responsibilities:
• Welcome prospective residents, answer questions, and provide engaging property tours that highlight apartment features and community benefits.
• Lead applicants through each step of the leasing journey, explaining requirements, timelines, and next steps clearly and professionally.
• Maintain consistent communication with leads through phone, email, and follow-up outreach while documenting activity in the company system.
• Prepare and process leasing documentation, assist with application review steps, and help coordinate a smooth move-in experience.
• Respond to resident inquiries related to leases and provide timely support to help resolve routine concerns.
• Review apartment homes before occupancy to confirm they are presented properly and ready for incoming residents.
• Contribute to leasing and occupancy targets by building strong prospect relationships and supporting conversion efforts.
• Handle inbound and outbound customer interactions professionally, including service calls and general information requests as needed.
Qualifications:
• At least 1 year of experience in customer service and sales-focused work environments.• Background in leasing, hospitality, retail, restaurants, property management, or similar customer-facing settings is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Comfortable working toward sales expectations, occupancy goals, or other performance measures.
• Experience using customer service, lead tracking, or property management software; familiarity with Yardi RENTCafe IQ is a plus.
• Ability to manage inbound and outbound calls while maintaining accuracy in documentation and follow-up.
• Capable of handling administrative tasks such as order entry, application support, and record updates.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekend hours when needed.
Compensation
