Web Content Writer

Robert Half Marketing and Creative has a client looking for a skilled Web Content Writer to join its team on a long-term contract/freelance basis. Based in Denver, Colorado, this role involves creating, managing, and optimizing digital content to engage audiences and support organizational goals. This is an exciting opportunity to focus on producing high-quality blogs, e-newsletters, and web content tailored to the climate and energy industry.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with organizational objectives and highlights energy industry trends.

• Research, write, and edit blogs, e-newsletters, and website content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and relevance for target audiences.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate technical and complex concepts into clear and engaging content.

• Manage an editorial calendar to ensure timely creation and publication of all digital materials.

• Optimize content to enhance user experience and maximize audience engagement.

• Monitor content performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies to improve reach and effectiveness.

• Work closely with marketing and design teams to maintain consistent branding across digital platforms.

• Stay informed about the latest trends, regulations, and innovations in the clean energy sector.

• Ensure all content adheres to quality standards and compliance requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
• Proven experience in writing and managing digital content, particularly for the energy industry.
• Exceptional skills in writing, editing, and proofreading.
• Familiarity with content management systems and digital marketing tools.
• Strong understanding of digital content best practices and analytics.
• Ability to simplify technical information for a general audience.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Knowledge of clean energy topics and trends is highly desirable.

Compensation

$35.00-$45.00 Hourly
