Cloud Platform Administrator, SAP S/4HANA

We are looking for a Cloud Platform Administrator to oversee the technical administration of an SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition environment in Warren, Michigan. This role supports platform stability, security, and day-to-day operations across development, quality, and production landscapes while partnering with internal business systems teams and external implementation specialists. The position also plays a key part in maintaining system readiness, monitoring integrations, and ensuring the environment stays aligned with ongoing SAP releases and updates.

Responsibilities:

• Administer the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition landscape across development, testing, and production environments to maintain reliable system performance.

• Manage user access, security settings, and governance controls to support compliance and appropriate segregation of duties.

• Oversee identity and authentication configurations, including integration with corporate identity providers such as Microsoft Entra ID.

• Monitor interfaces and connected applications to identify issues quickly and resolve disruptions affecting platform operations.

• Coordinate cloud transport activities, release controls, and deployment governance to support controlled movement of changes across environments.

• Configure and maintain communication setups and technical connections required for system-to-system integrations.

• Support platform operations within SAP Business Technology Platform, including subaccount administration, entitlements, and foundational runtime activities.

• Keep technical documentation current and provide clear updates to business stakeholders on system status, risks, and operational needs.

• Prepare the environment for SAP release cycles and continuous updates by validating readiness, coordinating activities, and addressing post-release issues.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in ERP or enterprise cloud platform administration, with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Identity Services, including single sign-on setup and integration with Azure AD or Microsoft Entra ID.
• Working knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform, including cockpit usage, subaccount management, and service entitlement administration.
• Experience managing cloud-based transport processes, software collections, and release governance practices.
• Solid understanding of SAP authorization design, including business roles, catalogs, access restrictions, and segregation of duties principles.
• Experience setting up and maintaining communication systems, communication arrangements, and API-based integrations.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving access issues, integration errors, and platform configuration problems.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and maintain accurate operational documentation.

Compensation

$115,000.00-$150,000.00 Yearly
