HR Generalist
Responsibilities:
• Drive end-to-end hiring efforts for skilled trades and production roles, from opening requisitions through offer coordination.
• Build talent pipelines using online sourcing, community partnerships, referrals, social platforms, trade programs, and local networking opportunities.
• Arrange interviews, support hiring events, and keep candidates informed with timely updates throughout the selection process.
• Track applicant activity, maintain accurate recruiting records, and report on hiring progress and workforce metrics.
• Create and adjust recruiting plans to help meet urgent staffing targets in a competitive labor market.
• Lead new employee onboarding activities, including orientation scheduling and preparation of employment documentation.
• Respond to employee questions, provide guidance on workplace policies, and assist with routine employee relations matters.
• Maintain organized personnel files and HR records to support compliance and internal documentation standards.
• Collaborate with site leadership on human resources initiatives that strengthen workforce operations and employee experience.
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of experience in human resources, talent acquisition, or HR business partnership roles.
• Proven ability to recruit hourly employees in manufacturing, industrial, logistics, distribution, construction, or similar environments.
• Hands-on experience with onboarding coordination and employee relations support.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple openings and priorities at once.
• Clear communication and effective relationship-building skills across leadership, candidates, and employees.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
• Familiarity with employment practices, HR compliance standards, and personnel record management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is preferred.
