Attorney/Lawyer
Responsibilities:
• Represent clients in litigation matters before Pennsylvania state courts and federal courts, supporting cases from initial assessment through resolution.
• Prepare motions, briefs, pleadings, and other legal filings with a strong focus on accuracy, strategy, and persuasive writing.
• Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, regulations, case law, and procedural rules to support litigation strategy.
• Manage discovery activities, including drafting requests, reviewing responses, organizing evidence, and assisting with depositions.
• Handle a diverse caseload involving contract disputes, insurance coverage matters, lease-related conflicts, tax assessment appeals, and collection actions.
• Collaborate with attorneys and clients to develop case strategies, evaluate risk, and recommend practical legal solutions.
• Participate in court appearances, hearings, negotiations, and other litigation-related proceedings as needed.
Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor degree and active license to practice law.• At least 2 years of litigation experience, preferably with exposure to both state and federal court matters.
• Demonstrated ability to draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and other litigation documents.
• Strong legal research, analytical reasoning, and written communication skills.
• Experience managing discovery tasks in contested matters.
• Working knowledge of civil litigation procedures and courtroom practice.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments effectively in a fast-paced legal environment.
Compensation
