Sr. Accountant

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Brea, California. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance, and supporting various accounting functions. This position requires a proactive and results-driven individual with a strong command of accounting principles and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and review general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and bank reconciliations.
• Consolidate financial reports and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
• Respond to audit requests and assist in preparing documentation for compliance reviews.
• Review and verify tax returns, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with accounts payable and other departments to address and resolve inquiries.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions, including macros, to streamline and improve reporting processes.
• Work closely with financial leadership to identify opportunities for operational efficiency.
• Ensure all financial records are maintained in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Provide support during peak periods, staying flexible to meet deadlines and business needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 3-4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as macros.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliation processes.
• Experience with month-end close and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct or similar accounting software is preferred.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
• Self-motivated and proactive with excellent attention to detail.

Compensation

$100,000.00-$110,000.00 Yearly
