Production Revenue Accountant
Responsibilities:
• Direct the financial administration of event production engagements, including invoice processing, vendor coordination, and end-to-end account reconciliation.
• Review contractor charges and supporting documentation to confirm accuracy, compliance, and alignment with approved budgets and agreements.
• Combine and organize client billing across projects while maintaining strong financial controls and clear revenue tracking.
• Oversee invoicing, vendor agreements, and budget monitoring for major event programs, including summit and signature event initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain budget-to-actual reporting, identify variances, and provide timely financial insight to support event decision-making.
• Track contractor spending and travel-related expenses, helping ensure cost discipline and effective use of funds throughout the event lifecycle.
• Maintain complete and audit-ready records for grant-supported activity, with a focus on transparency, compliance, and reporting accuracy.
• Partner with cross-functional event teams to improve finance workflows, strengthen contracting and payment processes, and streamline post-event reconciliation.
• Assess and recommend tools or process enhancements that increase visibility into payments, budgets, cash flow, and financial risk management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.• At least 3 years of experience in production accounting, event accounting, revenue accounting, or a closely related financial role.
• Demonstrated expertise in invoicing, vendor management, budgeting, reconciliations, and revenue reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, WolfePak, or comparable systems, along with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to analyze revenue activity, support reporting needs, and manage financial data with a high level of accuracy.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and competing priorities.
• Experience in media, live events, or work involving U.S. and international markets is advantageous.
• Willingness to travel as needed to support event execution.
