Purchaser
Responsibilities:
• Review incoming purchase orders to ensure alignment with commercial, technical, and contractual requirements before processing.
• Create, update, and manage sales orders using Epicor, including standard, project, service, and change orders.
• Identify and address discrepancies related to pricing, scope, payment terms, lead times, and documentation requirements.
• Issue Sales Order Acknowledgements (SOAs) and Proforma Invoices when applicable.
• Monitor and manage unacknowledged, on-hold, and high-risk orders throughout their lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance teams to resolve technical and supply constraints.
• Ensure all documentation, drawings, testing requirements, and compliance standards are met before releasing orders.
• Lead weekly Sales Order Review meetings to address risks, resolve issues, and prepare for order releases.
• Train and mentor Order Entry Representatives, providing guidance and setting priorities to ensure smooth operations.
• Drive process improvement initiatives related to order flow, risk management, and governance procedures.
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in customer service, order fulfillment, or related roles.• Previous experience managing customer service representatives is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software tools.
• Familiarity with Epicor or similar ERP systems is highly preferred.
• Ability to apply critical thinking and logic to resolve issues and develop solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and ensure coverage across regions.
Compensation
