Manager Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting
Responsibilities:
• Direct the preparation and review of periodic and current public company filings, including annual, quarterly, and event-driven reports.
• Manage the development of financial statements, supporting disclosures, and narrative reporting sections to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Evaluate complex or unusual transactions and prepare clear accounting position documentation grounded in applicable U.S. GAAP guidance.
• Advise business partners on the accounting impact of strategic activities such as revenue arrangements, lease matters, equity awards, and acquisitions.
• Track new accounting standards and disclosure requirements, then coordinate implementation plans across relevant stakeholders.
• Work closely with internal teams and external auditors to address reporting questions, resolve technical issues, and support a smooth audit process.
• Strengthen financial reporting processes and controls to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and support regulatory compliance.
• Assist with internal control and SOX-related documentation, assessing reporting risks and recommending practical improvements before issues arise.
Qualifications:
• Active CPA license required.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 3 years of progressive accounting experience, with exposure to financial reporting and technical accounting responsibilities.
• Background in public accounting, ideally with a Big 4 or large regional firm.
• Strong command of U.S. GAAP and public company external reporting requirements.
• Experience preparing or reviewing annual and quarterly filings for a publicly traded organization.
• Demonstrated ability to research accounting guidance, write technical memos, and communicate conclusions effectively.
• Proficiency in financial reporting topics such as SEC reporting, EPS, annual reporting, and related disclosure requirements.
Compensation
