Recruiter
Responsibilities:
• Engage with prospective students from warm lead sources and guide them through the enrollment process with clear, persuasive communication.
• Promote the school’s academic programs and value proposition in a way that encourages interest, trust, and next-step action.
• Work through a high-volume pipeline of existing and newly generated leads to reduce backlog and improve response times.
• Conduct outreach activities designed to increase enrollment conversions while maintaining a supportive and student-focused experience.
• Track candidate and lead interactions accurately within the applicant tracking or recruitment system used by the organization.
• Partner with internal team members onsite to align outreach efforts with enrollment goals and daily priorities.
• Maintain organized follow-up practices to ensure no promising lead is overlooked during the recruitment cycle.
• Contribute to the growth of the recruiting function by supporting ongoing recruitment and enrollment objectives in a developing team structure.
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, admissions, enrollment, sales, or a closely related field.• Demonstrated success in a high-volume environment that requires persistence, urgency, and strong follow-up habits.
• Ability to communicate program offerings clearly and build interest through consultative conversations.
• Comfortable working onsite in Anaheim, California on a part-time schedule of approximately 20–30 hours per week.
• Experience using an applicant tracking system or similar recruitment database; transferable platform experience is acceptable.
• Results-driven approach with the confidence to manage outreach, overcome objections, and support enrollment goals.
• Prior experience in education, adult learning, or higher education is preferred.
• Detail-oriented presence and ability to work effectively in a business casual environment.
Compensation
