Controller

We are seeking an experienced Controller to oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls for our organization. This onsite role requires a hands-on leader who can ensure accurate financial management, support strategic decision-making, and help drive operational efficiency. Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting. Based on general knowledge.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections. Based on general knowledge.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls, compliance processes, and accounting policies. Based on general knowledge.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and tax-related activities. Based on general knowledge.
• Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial partners. Based on general knowledge.
• Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations that support business goals. Based on general knowledge.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff while improving workflows and financial processes. Based on general knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

•Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Based on general knowledge.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience, including leadership responsibility. Based on general knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and GAAP. Based on general knowledge.
• Experience managing accounting operations in a fast-paced environment. Based on general knowledge.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel; experience with reporting tools is a plus. Based on general knowledge.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Based on general knowledge.
• CPA or advanced certification preferred. Based on general knowledge.
• Must be able to work onsite; preference given to Hawaii residents.

Compensation

$120,000.00-$130,000.00 Yearly
