Staff/Senior Accountant – (FTEP Practice)

Robert Half's Full-Time Engagement Professionals (FTEP) practice is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team and support clients through critical accounting initiatives, process improvements, and special projects.

This engagement offers the opportunity to help a client navigate a major ERP transition while supporting day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate enjoys solving problems, learning new systems, partnering with business leaders, and making an immediate impact for clients when they need it most.


What You'll Do:

• Provide backup support for Accounts Payable processing

• Enter vouchers and process manual payments

• Assist with Accounts Receivable monitoring, customer statements, and account follow up

• Support General Ledger activities and reconciliations

• Perform GL to subledger analysis and cleanup activities

• Assist with accounting data validation and reconciliation efforts related to an ERP conversion

• Support accounting process improvements and documentation

• Partner with accounting leadership to ensure accurate financial data during system transition activities

• Assist with month-end close and special accounting projects as needed



Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of accounting experience

• Experience supporting General Ledger accounting functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable processing

• Microsoft Dynamics GP experience required

• Experience creating and utilizing SmartLists required

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP experience

• Concur experience

• Accounts Receivable experience

• ERP conversion or system implementation experience

Location Requirements:

This position supports clients throughout the Fort Worth market. Candidates should be comfortable working onsite at client locations as business needs require.

General Ledger, Month-End Close, Account Reconciliations, Financial Reporting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, ERP Implementations, Data Cleanup, Process Improvement, System Conversions, Financial Analysis, and Project Accounting.
