Paralegal
Responsibilities:
• Collect, review, and organize medical records, billing documentation, and other case-related materials to support litigation strategy.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, experts, and other parties to obtain information, updates, and required documents.
• Prepare draft pleadings, discovery materials, motions, and related legal documents for attorney review and filing.
• Assemble exhibits, trial notebooks, hearing packets, and other materials needed for court appearances and case preparation.
• Monitor court deadlines, filing dates, and case milestones to help ensure matters progress on schedule.
• Maintain accurate case files, correspondence, and document records in an organized and accessible manner.
• Support attorneys across personal injury and business litigation matters from initial intake through trial preparation.
• Complete electronic court filings and assist with discovery-related document management as needed.
Qualifications:
• At least 3 years of paralegal experience supporting civil litigation matters.• Working knowledge of Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and Texas Rules of Evidence.
• Proven ability to manage multiple active cases and deadlines in a fast-paced legal setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a detail-focused approach to client and team interactions.
• Excellent organizational abilities and close attention to detail in handling legal documents and case materials.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience with Adobe and electronic filing systems used in litigation support.
• Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and staff while also handling responsibilities independently.
Compensation
