Plaintiff Mass Tort Attorney – Alton, IL
Position Description
A highly regarded plaintiff-side law firm in Alton, Illinois is seeking a Mass Tort Attorney to join its growing litigation team. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact, complex mass tort matters on behalf of injured individuals nationwide. The attorney will be involved in all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation, while collaborating closely with senior attorneys, paralegals, and subject-matter experts.
This is a full-time, permanent position with a firm known for its strong advocacy, collaborative culture, and commitment to meaningful plaintiff work. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered.
Qualifications:
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active Illinois bar license (or ability to obtain promptly)
- 2+ years of litigation experience; mass tort, product liability, toxic tort, or complex plaintiff litigation strongly preferred
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Experience with discovery, depositions, and motion practice
- Ability to manage a caseload independently while working effectively in a team environment
- High attention to detail, strong organization, and excellent communication skills
- Commitment to plaintiff advocacy and client-centered representation
